Intelligent futures: Working with automation & digitisation to deliver sustainable employment and growth

This report, developed by Ulster University’s Economic Policy Centre (UUEPC) and commissioned by the Department for the Economy examines the increasing role of automation and it’s effects on the Northern Ireland economy.

Automation is the substitution of labour by capital, and is examined in this context both in terms of automation through Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.
