The Northern Ireland Science Park has just launched a new programme designed to encourage budding entrepreneurs with a paid internship and the opportunity to win £10,000.
Generation Innovation is a network for Northern Ireland’s most ambitious, innovative, creative and entrepreneurial teens. It’s aimed at budding entrepreneurs, gamers, App developers, programmers, engineers, scientists, designers and creatives.
Young entrepreneurs will receive financial support to develop their business product/idea and access the support and expertise that is required to set up a company, develop a business plan and take the product to market. To enter the Internship Prize for Entrepreneurs, participants must be under 18 at the time of entry, be available over July and August 2015 and must have an innovative idea.
Six finalists will receive an award of £2,000 and mentoring from some of Northern Ireland’s finest entrepreneurs. The overall winner will be be awarded £10,000 to invest in their business.
