Almac Group has been recognised as the UK’s top manufacturer in the Medical/Life Sciences and Healthcare industry at the Made in the UK Awards.
As a result of being selected as the regional winner in the Made in Northern Ireland Awards, presented on 12th May in Belfast, Almac Group was automatically entered to compete in the Made in the UK Awards as Northern Ireland’s representative for the category. Almac Group beat off strong competition from Crawford Healthcare, North West and Tissuemed, Yorkshire.
The event, which welcomed over 500 manufacturers from across the UK, was held on Thursday 22nd June 2017 in the Titanic Hotel, Liverpool.
The ceremony organisers, Insider Media, designed the awards to recognise and reward manufacturing companies based in the UK which have demonstrated success in innovation, product development and growth in either domestic or overseas markets.
