A productive workshop with Chris Hayward the Policy Chair at the City of London Corporation exploring Regulatory Technologies (RegTech) was recently hosted at Ulster University (Magee).

John Healy OBE (Invest Northern Ireland Chair) and Prof Liam Maguire represented Matrix at the workshop along with attendees from the North West RegTech Super Cluster, Derry City & Strabane District Council and Donegal County Council and Atlantic Technological University.

Workshop participants discussed the North West city region’s ambitions for a RegTech Super Cluster and discussed the findings of the RegTech report by Matrix ahead of its launch highlighting the areas of capability and opportunities available in this evolving sector. There was acknowledgement that the report will be a key statement of Northern Ireland’s RegTech capability.
