A new all island agritech body, Agtech Ireland, is being formed to represent the application of technology – especially hardware and software – in farming.
Agriculture and food technology are viewed as a significant a high-potential growth area for
the economy, and the key to the future of agriculture lies in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Agtech Ireland is currently establishing an all island representative group for Agtech companies and they are keen to engage with NI based companies who would like to join. The group will primarily be industry led, but will have close working relationships with government bodies, representative groups, allied industries, tech providers as well as universities and other educational establishments.
For more information and to get involved, contact agtechireland@gmail.com – if you provide any form of technology, digital or analogue, for the farming or food sector they would be delighted to hear from you.
