Matrix will partner with the NI Science Festival which, now in its ninth year, has grown to become the largest celebration of its kind on the island of Ireland and in its relatively short lifespan became one of the leading Science Festivals in the whole of Europe.
With over 200 events running between 16 – 26 February, the festival will engage thousands of participants in a diverse range of talks and lectures, screenings and interactive events throughout Northern Ireland.
The festival will feature talks from esteemed scientific minds such as Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell and Jim Al-Khalili as well as household names like Grace Webb, famous for her CBBC programme Grace’s Amazing Machines and recent Strictly Come Dancing winner Hamza Yassin.
Matrix will be partnering with a number of key events around the festival, focussed on promoting a culture of innovation and raising the profile of Women in STEM. Keep an eye on our social media (MATRIX NI (@MATRIX_NI) / Twitter) for updates from the festival and news about Matrix partner events.
