We are calling on innovators, students, and professionals to join us in creating impactful solutions as part of an event with the NI Science Festival.
Matrix is hosting a Hackathon, to ‘Hack to the Future’.
It will be a dynamic one day event 21 February held at Ulster University, Belfast.
It is designed to bring together creative minds, tech enthusiasts and policy makers to shape the future of Northern Ireland by 2050 using Matrix NI foresight reports as a guide.
Why Participate?
The event will offer participants the opportunity to collaborate, innovate, and develop solutions that address real-world challenges either as an individual or in teams.
It provides an opportunity to use your creativity and technical skills to compete for the best solution, impressing the judging panel.
Five future worlds will be explored under the following themes:
1. Clean and Green
2. Health, Wellbeing and vitality
3. Joined up and connected
4. Safe, protected and secure
5. Inclusive and shared value
We are also seeking volunteers to assist with the event and a volunteer expression of interest to get involved and assist on the day can be registered with the NI Science Festival Team.
