Yasmin Ali, an award-winning chartered engineer in the energy industry, champions renewable technologies, excels in science communication, and acknowledged as one of the top 50 female engineers for her impactful engagement efforts.

Yasmin is a chemical engineer and has worked in coal and gas fired power stations, oil and gas, district heating systems, and energy innovation, including production of hydrogen and energy efficiency in industry. Yasmin ‘fell’ into the field of chemical engineering by accident, and is now passionate about promoting engineering stories and careers to the public and young people.
