The Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) Healthcare, in collaboration NHS England and NHS Improvement is pleased to announce the launch of a new competition for funding to develop solutions to challenges in:
- Health Inequalities in maternity care
- Autism and Learning Disabilities

At the briefing webinar you will have the opportunity to discover more about the competition challenge, how to apply to the programme and to ask any questions directly to clinical experts in the sector.

- The AHSNs
The Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) Healthcare is an NHS England and NHS Improvement funded initiative which aims to help develop solutions that address unmet health needs in order to improve patients’ lives and support NHS efficiency.
Each year SBRI Healthcare provides funding to innovative new products and services with the potential to improve patient outcomes and delivery of health services within specific health challenges.
Competitions are open to any organisations of any size from the private, public and third sectors, including charities and Trusts. The organisations applying need to demonstrate a clear route to market for their products or solutions.
The SBRI scheme is particularly suited to small and medium-sized businesses, as the contracts are of relatively small value and operate on short timescales for Government departments. In addition, it is an opportunity for companies to engage a public sector customer pre-procurement.
