The COP26 Climate Change conference brings the leaders of the world together in the UK, in the most important meeting since Paris in 2015.This event, held 2 weeks after the conference has concluded, will reflect on progress made at the conference, and ask what next for the UK.
This event is dedicated to the memory of the Earl of Selborne. John Selborne served in many roles in science, technology and the environment over many years, including (amongst many others) Chairman of the Foundation for Science and Technology, Chairman of the House of Lords Science and Technology Committee, Chairman of the Parliamentary Science and Technology Information Foundation, Chancellor of the University of Southampton, President of the Royal Geographical Society, Chairman of the Agricultural Research Council, and a member of the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution.
The event is being organised by the Foundation for Science and Technology on behalf of several organisations that John Selborne worked with over the years.
