Belfast company SureCert has been awarded Government NHSx funding through the recent Techforce19 call for its digital platform, which connects people with job and volunteering opportunities.

Working in partnership with Experian PLC and the GB Group, SureCert’s platform for digital identity can provide both elements of the recruiting process – finding people and getting them onboard, all in the one place. It is also usable for the recruitment of volunteers and community groups seeking manpower.

The grant from NHSx, a joint project run by the NHS and the Department of Health and Social Care to drive digital transformation of care, will allow SureCert to start a trial seeking volunteers for the care sector to further develop their platform.

NHSX and MHCLG have announced a total of 18 digital solutions that have been awarded funding under the TechForce19 challenge. TechForce19 has awarded up to £25,000 each to innovation that offers a digital way to support vulnerable people who need to stay at home or need other help in the community for extended periods of time. The response to the challenge was extremely strong, with over 1,600 innovations submitted.

You can see the list of all winning companies on the Techforce19 website.
