DESCRIPTION:The conference will focus on the future of the local economy with the aim of boosting growth and productivity\nFermanagh and Omagh District Council’s business conference\, ‘The Future of our Local Economy’\, will focus on boosting growth and productivity\, and achieving regional balance. \nThe event\, which is open to all businesses\, will be hosted by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Chair\, Councillor Thomas O’Reilly. \nThe Conference Keynote Speaker Ian Snowden\, Interim Permanent Secretary for the Department for the Economy\, will outline the Department’s Economic Vision\, which has four inter-related objectives: \n\nincreasing the number of good jobs\nraising productivity\npromoting regional balance\nreducing carbon emissions\n\nA variety of other speakers will also be in attendance at the event to discuss the economic strengths and opportunities in the Fermanagh and Omagh District. \nThe MC for the event will be journalist Louise Cullen. \nFind out more and register for the Future of our Local Economy conference.
