SUMMARY:Immerse UK x Imagination Virtual Production Series
DESCRIPTION:Between November 2021 and February 2022\, Immerse UK and Imagination will be joined by industry experts in a series of panel discussions and thought-leadership pieces exploring the impact of virtual production and real time content production\, each from a different perspective. \nJoin the organisers as they explore virtual production through three different lenses\, including; \nThe Future of Content\nThe benefits and impact of using a real time workflow to create content. \nThe Future of Live Experiences\nThe emerging advantages\, and challenges\, of using real time content for live experiences. \nDigital Transformation in real time\nExploring what is required to embrace realtime technologies and workflows into your organisation. \nAbout Virtual Production\nVirtual Production is more accurately described as real time content production; The process by which digital objects and environments are generated in real time using video games engines such as Unreal and Unity. The same technology that immerses you in living\, breathing\, photorealistic gaming worlds\, is now being used by filmmakers\, storytellers\, marketers and even product designers\, opening up limitless creative possibilities. \nAbout the Series\nThis series aims to demystify the technology and dig into the practical applications\, and structural\, business and cultural impact of this incredible new world\, which is and will continue to transform industries in much the same way that cloud computing and the Internet before it. \nHear from industry experts and thought leaders at the forefront of Virtual Production\, as they guide you through the latest techniques and possibilities in this exciting new space.

SUMMARY:RAEng Engineering ethics report launch
DESCRIPTION:Join RAEng to launch the report\, “Engineering Ethics: Maintaining society’s trust in the Engineering Profession”. \nTo mark the publication of this important work from the Engineering Ethics Reference Group (a joint committee of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Engineering Council)\, we are hosting a webinar to hear from the Chair of the group\, Professor David Bogle FREng. This will be followed by a panel discussion with Chi Onwurah MP\, Professor Chris Atkin FREng\, Chair of the Engineering Council\, Dr Ollie Folayan\, Chair of AFBE-UK Scotland and Maitheya Riva\, early career engineer representative\, IOM3. \nEthical practice has long been part of the behaviours (together with sustainability and inclusion) which make a profession aspirational and trust-worthy.
